Collective Faculty
Jacoby Pruitt (he/him) is a New York City–based performer, choreographer, and teaching artist. He is an active collaborator with the Sean Curran Company and Kimberly Bartosik/Daela and also performs at The Metropolitan Opera. His professional career has additionally included work with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, Ailey II, Company XIV, as well as freelance engagements with celebrated choreographers. His creative work extends into television and film, with credits including Good Morning America, Alternatino with Arturo Castro, In the Heights, and music videos for artists such as Fletcher, Lexxe, Chad Lawson, Nicky Doll, and Loren Allred. Jacoby began his dance training in Miami, FL where he attended New World School of the Arts. He later earned his BFA in Dance with honors from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Jacoby is also a recipient of the Martha Hill Dance Fund Young Professional Award and a New York Dance and Performance Bessie Award.
