Eric Ascione began dancing at the age of 12. He competed ballroom and placed top 6 in the United States in U18 and U21 latin ballroom. He also went on to place 13th in the world championships for U18 latin ballroom. Shortly thereafter, Eric performed with Utah Metropolitan Ballet. In 2019, Eric was cast in the US premiere of Strictly Ballroom the Musical playing the leading role, Scott Hastings. Eric then went on perform as Ren McCormack in Sundance's "Footloose". Eric recently spent time in New York performing in Broadway-bound “Take the Lead” at the Papermill Playhouse.
