Lauren Alston is a distinguished dancer from Columbia, South Carolina. She began her dance journey with Donna Lewis at Dee Crump School of Dance and further developed her skills under Dale Lam at Columbia City Jazz Dance Conservatory. During this period, she trained with renowned choreographers including Stacey Calvert (Principal Dancer at New York City Ballet), Talin Kenar (American Ballet Theatre Board of Examiners), Mandy Moore (Emmy Award-Winner and Choreographer for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour), and Trey Holloway (Backup Dancer for Whitney Houston). At just 16, Ms. Alston embarked on her professional career with a 32-day tour across China, performing over 40 shows organized by the Chinese Cultural Council. Her career continued to flourish with appearances in commercials for brands like Huggies and Carolina Imports. Ms. Alston's diverse roles include Creative Director for DJ Bois Obscur, Co-Director of Columbia City Jazz’s Company II, Director of Hip Hop and Jazz Competition Teams at Griffin School of Dance, Head College and High School Dance Team Coach, and national and regional judge and instructor for dance competitions and conventions. Her latest venture, Liquid Harmony by Lauren, reflects her passion for music editing and offers innovative audio solutions. As her career evolves, Ms. Alston remains dedicated to sharing her expertise and enthusiasm with aspiring artists.
