Abby Partain has been dancing for 15 years and was a competitive gymnast for 7 years. She teaches dance, choreography and gymnastics. She is also a licensed gymnastics judge. She spent several summers at summer intensives: Cirque du Soleil at Las Vegas, Pre-Professional Jazz & Contemporary in New York City and completed 2 years of professional dance training in Jazz & Contemporary at Joffrey Ballet School, Dallas, Tx. She has participated in performance opportunities including: Swan Lake Russian variation at Southern Illinois University Music Festival, Chinese variation with the Moscow’s Nutcracker. She was an apprentice with national dance companies: Platinum National Dance Convention, Inferno and IAX. The 2023 National Improv dance ambassador for Imagine Dance and was awarded four national champion titles in advanced solo division, including at Platinum. Abby has also participated in theater performing arts for 5 years, including Legally Blonde as a performer and the show’s Choreographer at Rend Lake College and a performer in Footloose at Southern Illinois University. Abby also worked as a choreographer and dancer for the Frontier Baseball League at Mt. Dew Park in Illinois.
