Alise Borne is an award-winning professional ballroom dancer and choreographer originally from Washington State, specializing in commercial ballroom dance. Based in Nashville, she holds residency across TN and throughout the country where she travels to teach and choreograph. Alise began training at age four in ballet, tap, and modern before transitioning fully to Ballroom and Latin at age ten. She began teaching while still in high school and later received a scholarship to the prestigious Utah Valley University Ballroom Dance Company, where she competed collegiately and was part of the team that won the World Formation Championships in Blackpool, England in 2015. A four-time certified instructor and professional finalist, Alise has competed in International Latin, Ballroom, and American Smooth across the United States and internationally. With more than 15 years of teaching experience, she specializes in commercial ballroom training for elite studio dancers.
