Amee Boughter is a Pittsburgh native and has been dancing, teaching, and choreographing since a very young age. Graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Amee has built a remarkable career in the performing arts industry. She has trained at Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School and strongly believes in furthering her dance education to better herself and students. Amee travels the country working with dancers to share her expertise and inspires young artists to pursue their dreams while also perfecting technique and improving performance. Amee is currently a principal instructor at a studio in Western Pennsylvania where she instructs and choreographs multiple genres. She judges and instructs master classes all over the United States and her choreography has received many awards, National invitations as well as special judges recognition. Amee can also be seen in the movie “Abduction.” Amee’s involvement in musical theater is also present as she instructs and choreographs for several theatre workshops in Western PA where she also performs locally. Some of her favorite choreography credits includes show stopping musicals such as Newsies, Mamma Mia, Elf, Damn Yankees, Chorus Line, and RENT. With a career marked by artistic excellence and a deep commitment to the performing arts, Amee continues to push the boundaries of dance and theater.
