Clare Tinsman is from Bettendorf, IA and is now a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Madison double majoring in Dance and Political Science. She began dancing at the age of 2 and has training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, and hip-hop. She has also been a dance teacher for 4 years and worked alongside various choreographers in setting solos, duets, and groups for the competition stage. As the captain of her state-winning high school dance team, Clare received an Innovative Choreography Award at the National Dance Alliance camp. She also attended the first ever Platinum Summer Dance Academy where she got to meet dancers and learn from teachers across the country. Clare earned her first apprenticeship for the Platinum Dance Experience in 2019 and has enjoyed every moment since. In 2024, she was the Senior National Improv Winner at Platinum's National Competition in Panama City Beach, the 1st Runner Up Artist of the Year at Platinum's National Artist of the Year Event in Chicago, and the 1st place senior soloist at Platinum's Ultimate Invitational in Chicago. Clare is so excited to share her passion for dance and tour with the incredible Platinum faculty.
