My name is Brinkley Johnson, I am currently 19 years old, and grew up in Saint Augustine Florida. I first began dancing at the age of 3 and instantly fell in love with this expressive art form. I have had the pleasure of training at The Dance Company in St. Augustine Florida for over 15 years in various styles including: tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, acrobatics, contemporary, etc. I was blessed with the opportunity to compete at a multitude of studio competitions from ages 9-16. Shortly after I began attending dance team competitions with my high school and received the title of captain and president of the dance program my senior year. Concurrently to the many hours of training, I taught as a mentor teacher for The Dance Company from 2021-2024, where I got the experience of assisting classes as well as teaching a few of my own. I am currently attending the University of Florida where I am pursuing a double major in Finance and their BFA dance program. I am so excited to see where my future takes me and hope to maintain influence and connection through the competitive dance industry.
